Innochain has worked closely with Turtle Wax for almost two years and has supported a major redesign of its supply chain structure and modus operandi.Camiel Vennekens was asked to carry out a full and thorough assessment of its European supply chain in late 2008, his brief was to produce a plan outlining current status of the three businesses operating throughout Europe and through close collaboration with the EMEA teams produce a detailed transformation plan that would enable a much more consolidated view of its entire supply chain organisation.
This included redesigning the supply chain and the introduction of a commodity management team responsible for pan European purchasing and developing mutually beneficial relationships with preferred suppliers.
A complete review of Turtle wax’s warehousing and distribution across Europe and support in the renegotiation of third party logistics and distribution, resulting in significant savings and improvements in customer service. This also included the project management of a brand new ERP system, the support from Camiel, Filip and Kerryanne was instrumental to the success of this whole project which was completed on time and within budget.
Innochain’s approach to providing a comprehensive service to a business is based on providing innovative and practical solutions; the team at Innochain have a wealth of knowledge, a work ethic and an attention to detail that can only be admired.
